Seadog 30 Ketch - New arrival
Seadog 30 yacht for sale. She has a proven cruising record both coastal and further afield. Builder Reg Freeman incorporated many useful features into this class to provide a well balanced boat with good sailing performance and equally good performance when cruising under motor. With her Ketch rig and separate aft cabin, the Seadog 30 sails particularly well downwind and with her long, shallow centre keel and well positioned bilge keels, an upwind performance is surprisingly brisk for a traditional motor sailer. She has just received a substantial overhaul of her hull. She has been completely re-gelcoated below the waterline having received a fully warranted treatment for hull moisture and is now dry and fit for many years to come. New rubbing strakes and a general facelift give her an outstanding appearance. The centre cockpit and Ketch rig provide for classic lines and an imposing sight upon the water. This Seadog 30 is also in great condition inside and, combined with a good overall specification inc Perkins inboard diesel (some related electronic update work needs to be undertaken), is a good value boat priced at £10750.
