Charger Warlock 30 Offshore - Great Boat... Low Hours... Great Price.... Original Look and Feel of the 1970's!!!!

****NEW NOTE 12-12-14

WE just discovered this boat was NOT MANUFACTURED BY WARLOCK. It was manufactured by Charger Custom Boats of Southern California. This DOES NOT SEEM to be the CHARGER company that currently builds bass and fishing boats! It looks like Tom Stollar used the Charger Custom Boat factory to make some of his early boats! Tom\'s boats were marketed under the name WARLOCK, a company he founded later!
I am still making phone calls to verify some of the history, but this appears to be one of Mr. Stoller\'s very early hand made boats!

This boat was built in 1979! It has less than 500 original hours!!!! It has been kept in \"showroom\" condition, and presents with a modern day appeal and a nostalgic look and feel!

Stock #62853 This boat is 4.9 on a scale of 0 to 5, with 5 being \'show room\' or Bristol condition. This opinion takes into consideration the age of the boat, it\'s use, how it presents, and very importantly, the attitude of the owners toward this craft. This is an extremely well cared for west coast offshore high performance boat. My initial impression is a beautiful boat, especially considering it\'s age. A simple touch up of paint on the lower units and propellers, and this boat could be (and perhaps should be) in a museum! It is CLASSIC! The colors, and the interior take me back to the late 70\'s! Small block 350 Chevy V-8\'s drive Volvo Penta 280 out drives.... The rub rails are straight, true and show very minor signs of use. The top, sides and bottom of this boat are well kept and polished! The owners claims of the boat being taken to a car wash after each use is easily believed! There is a bright gloss and excellent shine of the fiberglass and gel coat! The only imperfections are some minor scratches on the starboard bottom. I did my best to get photographs, but I could not make the scratches appear in pictures! Otherwise, this boat is spotless! My reasoning for not giving a perfect score, besides minor scratches on the bottom, are a hand full of missing snaps on the cockpit cover. Even the trailer tires are in great condition! The trailer looks brand new! The wheels are bright, shiny, and waxed to a mirror like finish. The engine room is clean and well maintained! The cabin is all original! The carpets are in excellent condition! This is a well maintained, and well cared for boat! It is currently in the hands of the third owner. There are more details about the chain of ownership in the \'DETAILED DESCRIPTION\'. The current owners use it on small lakes in northern Indiana, and feel they have never given the boat enough water to see what it is capable of! The current owner has a receipts for both major and minor repairs over the life of this boat. I looked at a receipt from 2009 for axle service and rebuilding of the brakes and trailer master cylinder. There is another for over $1000 for the installation of a new stereo and USB port! Impellers, fuel filters, exhaust riser gaskets, bellow inspections, out drive lube changes, control cables, and the list goes on! In 2012 one of the engines dropped an exhaust valve seat in the #5 cylinder, documented by a repair bill for $4300 to rebuild the top of the engine, and replace an exhaust manifold! Trim hoses, trim motors and pumps, it\'s all been done and documented! Inside the boat is beautiful, well cared for and meticulously maintained. There was no area inside the cabin that required a wipe down before taking the photos. The look and feel of this boat is truly 1970\'s and 1980\'s! As I moved through this boat, I had visions of people wanting to know just what kind of a boat this is! The boat has perfect bright red carpeting which is fresh, and showed no signs of wear, discoloration, or any type of dirt or dust. This is truly a boat that makes you want to remove your shoes before boarding! The cockpit and outside area feature a mooring cover which snaps over the cockpit. There is also a custom full boat trailing cover. The cockpit and helm area of this boat is extremely functional, and comfortable! The helm features twin bolster seats that allows comfortable seating at high speeds. The cockpit feature a generous bolster couch, large enough for 4 adults. There is also a Bimini top that is not shown in the photos. Mechanically, the vessel is very clean, and well cared for. The bilge and engine areas are clean, free of dirt, dust, grease or mechanical residue. The engine compartment is spotless. I walked on the stringers in my white socks to get photos, and my socks came out as clean as they went in! The boat was out of the water, on it\'s trailer and winterized when I visited. Some of the cooling hoses are disconnected as part of the winterization process. Both engines and out drives are filled with anti-freeze. The rear seat was removed, however, I did a photo of the rear seat in which is stored at the owner\'s house. This boat looks like it is wiped down upon being put back on the trailer.... The sides, bottom, and out drives have no spots or hard water residue. This is a well cared for boat that has been professionally maintained and service, and is a great find for some lucky new owner!
