Diesel Duck 38

She was designed by West Coast boat builder George Buehler, as a fishing trawler more commonly known as the 38 foot Diesel Duck.  Recently refurbished interior and exterior including Diamond Seaglaze pilothouse doors and windows. Fuel efficiency allows for a 3000 mile cruising range. 

The vessel is custom built and is constructed of oak & pine ribs, 24 inch on center. The hull is constructed of ¾ inch pine dimensional lumber, tarred, covered with 2 layers of 3/8 inch MDO plywood (tarred in between layers) and then covered with 6 oz. fiberglass cloth and West System epoxy. The hull was stripped and re-glassed in 2011. The seller installed new Diamond Seaglaze pilothouse doors and windows along with 6 fixed port-lights in the main salon.  The pilothouse exterior was stripped, epoxied and repainted in 2012 and the interior has been stripped and re-varnished.
