NEW Construction PROJECT 603  

In 2006 a new ownership group acquired the trademark name and rights to Broward Marine, the famed yacht .builder started by Frank Denison in 1948.  They completed two 125’ Raised Pilot House vessels – COCO LOCO and LADY BROWARD.  The 3rd vessel in the series, hull # 603 was contracted by an individual who subsequently withdrew from the project.   

PROJECT 603 is approximately 50% completed, including the hull, superstructure, decks& bulkheads, main engines & generators.  603 was originally to be built with 50 cycle electric but could easily be converted.  A warranty is available for main engines and generators.  

A considerable amount of interior wood treatments and some fixed furniture (stored in climate controlled space) is included.  

There are several options to complete PROJECT 603, including to finish her at the Broward Shipyard in Dania Florida where she was started and currently stored inside construction building.  She could also be towed to any number of shipyards in Florida (or elsewhere) to be fully commissioned.  The cost estimate for completion is between $7,000,000 & $7,500,000 with an approximate 15 month turnaround.
