As you enter the cockpit from the large swim platform you take a half step up through the transom door. There is a large sun pad attached to the rear bench seating. The seating can be folded down to form an even larger sunning deck. Forward to starboard is a rear facing seat that is back to back with the captain\'s chair. This can be folded down to form a lounger. The helm has easy to read instrumentation and a padded wheel. Port is the bar area with a 12 volt refrigerator. Just forward is a rear facing lounger. The sliding cabin door also serves as steps to the front deck and sunpad.

Stock #69515 The Monterey 298 is in very good condition for a 12 year old boat. It has always been covered even while in the slip. The 2009 trailer is rare on a boat of this size and a tremendous feature to have. You can store the boat or move it location to location. The bottom has been painted with antifouling paint if you want to keep it in a slip.

All the upholstery, inside and out is in very good condition. The engines have regular maintenance and there is a X-Tream heater installed so you do not need to winterize.
