She was designed by the famous Larry Smith for Excel Boats which was really Wellcraft boats. She is the very soul of the go-fast boats. She was designed to keep going fast when the going gets rough. Her deep-V hull is the Scarab race boat hull with a slender beam and a keel pad for increased lift. The deck plan is fairly typical for go fast type boats.

The helm offers great visibility, and the low profile windscreen is perfect for her. The upholstery was re-done.  Her hull was repainted professionally, and her graphics are first class.

Her engine is her strong card. She was rebuilt with the best equipment available to be reliable and really strong. Merlin Heads, JE Pistons, Balanced & Blueprinted, .30 over engine, Super Hydraulic cam. The Quad carberator was rebuilt by locar carb shop. The engine was built by noted engine builder here in North Carolina. She is a bit over 500 HP. She has only been fired on the stand.

She comes with her own trailer. The cost of this vessel is a mere fraction of what has been spent to get her this far along. The owner has run out of the time, money, and most of all the desire to finish her. All that she needs at this point is an exhaust system and very little TLC for the odds and ends that may pop up. She is very close to giving somebody the ride of their life. It will be an “E” ticket ride to be sure. She will turn heads where ever you take her. She is classic go-fast, and will make you proud.
