56\' Sundeer 56. Designed by Steve Dashew and world renowned as one of the best blue water sailing boats ever built. Tamarisk is currently completing a circumnavigation and will be laid up in Greece or Turkey by March 2015. Almost all functional systems have been newly installed or replaced during the past 3 years, including new North Sails main and Genoa, 5kw generator, Xantrex inverter/charger, isolation transformer, two Simrad autopilot systems with heavy duty hydraulic rams, 1260 AH Trojan battery bank (new Nov 2014), 700w solar panel system, air conditioner, KVH Trac Phone sat com, Class B AIS, SSB radio w Pactor modem, bearing-less rudder system, rebuilt winches, new 150 amp alternator, B&G instruments, Iridium sat phone, 110 meters anchor chain, Highfield dinghy, 15 hp Yamaha Enduro outboard... all of it new within the past three years. Also includes spare parts sufficient for any voyage.

Tamarisk is currently sailing in the Indian Ocean and bound for the Mediterranean. The boat is in outstanding operating condition, with only superficial and cosmetic improvements on the \"to do\" list, which will be performed by current owner prior to sale. New bimini, some leaking hatches, polishing the stainless, and things of the sort. Tamarisk is otherwise 100% ready for another circumnavigation or any type of Bluewater sailing adventure. The boat features 250 gals of diesel tanks, 400 gals water, huge sail locker with 8 sail inventory, large engine room, overbuilt mast, rigging, rudder, etc... everything you\'d want in a sturdy passag-emaker built for blue water rather than the standard fair weather charter designs.
