Jarvis Newman Cruiser - Price just reduced
Summer is the only Newman 36 finished by the Bunker & Ellis team with superb workmanship and design. Her original name was Foggy Dew, well-know among the Mount Desert Island summer community. This classic yacht has been sailed summers only and professionally maintained and stored inside during the off season. Her previous owner had the Newman & Gray Boatyard enhance and expand her galley area, which opened up her cabin for ease of entertaining and picnic preparation. Her open cockpit and stern seat are both beautiful and spacious for additional deck chairs to enjoy both the sights and company aboard. Her current owner had her woodwork extensively refinished and she has been very gently used since. She is a one-of-a-kind Downeast yacht that is in superb condition. Solid fiberglass hull built entirely by hand by the Jarvis Newman Boatyard in Southwest Harbor, Maine. She was completed by the Bunker & Ellis yard in Manset, Maine as a classic yacht. She is a fine example of their famous picnic boats with varnished mahogany cabinsides, shelter, and coamings. She is the only Newman 36 completed by Bunker & Ellis. A varnished fir platform and cabin sole was installed by the Newman & Gray yard in 1995. Headroom at the helm is 6\'2\". Her current owner has professionally had her coamings, platform, and cabin sole stripped and varnished, her decks, shelter and cabin tops painted. Her hull was awlgripped in 2007 as well. She\'s in very good condition and ready to sail.
