The PowerBoat Guide had this to say: A good-selling yacht, the 500 Sundancer (called the 480 Sundancer in 1990-91) was one of the largest sportcruisers on the market during her 1990\'s production years. With her long foredeck and sleek profile, the 500 combined luxury and extravagance in what was once a state-of-the-art package. Her sheer size is impressive enough, but it\'s the expansive, high-style interior that caused first-time viewers to catch their breath. Here, laid out on a single level and presenting a panorama of curved bulkheads and designer furnishings, the Sundancer\'s accommodation\'s rival those of a small motor yacht. There are two private staterooms, two heads (each with a stall shower), a plush U-shaped sofa aft, and a wide-open salon with excellent headroom throughout. The cockpit--with its triple companion seat, full wet bar, and circular lounge seating--can seat a small crowd. Additional features include a reverse sport arch, wide side decks, and a huge engine room. ACCOMMODATIONS Starting forward is the master stateroom with a king sized bed. Two full size cedar lined hanging lockers with plenty of storage below. Flat screen color TV and BlueRay DVD unit with remote. The ensuite head features a Vacu-flush toilet, vanity with molded sink a separate stall shower with glass door. Next moving aft to port is the guest stateroom with a lower double bed and an upper single. Plenty of room. Cedar lined hanging closet and adequate storage in drawers and cabinets located throughout the cabin. There is a private entrance to the dual entry guest head from this cabin. The other entrance is from the salon area. This head also features a Vacu-flush toilet and a separate stall shower and a vanity with molded sink. Opposite and on the starboard side is the galley and breakfast bar with two stools. The galley is fully functional with a full size refrigerator with separate freezer up top. A fairly large corian counter top with a three burner Kenyon cook top, two basin molded sink and work area with a Braun trash compactor located underneath. The microwave is a carousel type by Sharp along with a Nutone built-in blender. Everything flows nicely for ease of use and maintenance. Next aft and to starboard is the salon with a Large curved tan leather sofa. Plenty of seating and position perfectly to entertain watch TV or just relax on. The electronics leave nothing to be desired. Opposite and to port is the built-in color TV with a Panasonic VCR, Harman/Kardon Stereo tuner, Harman/Kardon 5 CD player, Harmon/Kardon Dual Cassette deck with ample speakers and remote controls. Also located on the port side is a Karibe combo Washer/Dryer unit and a central vacuum system hookup. Excellent layout with very good looking neutral colors along with the original floor protectors makes one think you\'re in a much newer boat. Accommodations Galley Electronics & Navigation Systems Electrical DeckThe cockpit has a large circular seating area that will easily accommodate seven people and can double as a sunpad.
