This is a multipurpose, shallow draft
vessel that has completed numerous Arctic
deployments. It is a USCG inspected vessel with an
ABS Certified Load Line. It is a unique vessel that can
be used for geophysical, geo-technical, oil spill
response, cargo transportation, and/or as a berthing
vessel. Its USCG COI is endorsed to allow the
housing of 22 persons on board. When operating as
an ORV, the COI allows persons on board to increase
to 44 by adding (2) 12 person USCG approved
temporary quarters.
It is equipped with a four point
mooring system which allows for various drilling
operations while conducting marine scientific missions
and/or offshore oilfield projects.
