LBSS is proud to introduce  MOANA REI  a lovely traditional Herreshoff 60 for sale.

Few designers have achieved the fame of  L. Francis Herreshoff or been credited with designing so many of the world’s most beautiful, classic yachts. 

MOANA REI was launched in 1982 from the yard of Sea Glass Yachts, New Zealand and has recently had a major refit including a full underwater osmosis treatment, a complete repaint and many system upgrades.  While there are a few cosmetic issues that still remain to be completed, she has amazing structural strength and integrity and is an extremely well built, serious blue water passage maker that would be equally suited to living aboard or for use as a romantic charter yacht.

Powered by a powerful 140hp Isuzu diesel MOANA REI has a top speed of eight knots and the Onan 6.5kva Generator copes easily with all the ships 240v AC electrics and the engine room is a delight.  The spacious saloon with full navigation centre and warm timber finishes add to her ambience. The three cabin layout and saloon berths ensure comfortable accommodation for up to eight and the spacious head has the seldom found luxury of a bath tub. She has good electronics and many quality inclusions.
