\"Ausgang\" is a custom built traditional ketch based upon a design by H Otto Horn. She was designed to be a heavy blue water cruiser and has fulfilled that role for her current owner for the past 14 years. She has cruised up and down the east coast, as well as to the Caribbean, and is ready for her next adventure!

AUSGANG enjoys a finely executed hard wood custom interior. The aft companionway leads to the master stateroom with the navigation station to port and a double berth to starboard. The nav area is finished with a hand crafted walnut navigation station, storage and flush mounted instruments. The area is finished in a Herreshoff style with white bulkheads, walnut trim and oak ceilings.

Forward in the walkway is a head to port and a storage locker to starboard. The head is fitted with a sink, vanity, rimmed mirror, and storage lockers.

Just forward of the maximum beam is the galley. The galley is equipped with a 3 burner propane stove with oven, double stainless steel sinks, built-in stem wear brackets, built-in stone wear racks, silverware drawer, utensil drawer and provisioning storage. The galley is finished with a tile back splash, oak ceilings, as well as an oak and mahogany sole. The galley is serviced with cold pressure water, refrigeration and excellent ventilation.

Opposite the galley on the port side is a dinette. The dinette comfortably seats 4 adults with a table large enough for dinner and a cozy area for board games or cards. Additional storage is provided for in outboard shelves and storage lockers.

The focsle area (V-berth) has a settee to port and a single pilot berth to starboard. The settee can be converted to a double berth via a filler with cushions. The focsle is finished in tastefully chosen fabrics (maroon in color) and fitted with coordinating throw pillows.
