Avance 33 - New arrival

The Avance 33 was designed by Peter Norlin as an elegant fast cruising boat and built to very high standards by Avance Yachts of Finland. Avance also built the Norlin designed Avance 245 and Avance 36 as well as the Sparkman & Stephens designed Avance 40; these yachts were built to standards of quality and detailing not seen in today’s boats.

The Avance 33 successfully combines the attributes sought by many experienced sailors in a very handsome package;

1. She is a well-built solid fiberglass hull, vinylester resins, precise tooling, and robust scantlings.
2. She is a delight to sail in all conditions. Responsive, fast, weatherly, easily driven and beautifully balanced.
3. She is highly versatile; easy to single hand (thanks to a narrow beam, moderate displacement, good manners, a self-tacking jib and a thoughtful deck layout); capable of winning silver in club racing events; well-appointed for trouble free cruising.
4. She is a simple boat, without the complicated, expensive and troublesome systems that plague many of today yachts.

“Ardent” has been continually upgraded and carefully maintained by her original owner of thirty years.

Deck is Divinicell cored with solid laminate under tracks, toe rails and fittings.

Cast iron keel fastened with 11 stainless steel bolts(53% ballast ratio)
