Mystic 30 Cutter
The Mystic 30 is a very traditional cutter rigged cruising vessel that was built in limited production in Noank CT. They are well known for their salty lines and comfortable accommodations. Chatte De Mer has been lovingly owned for the past 7 years by owners who gave her good care and many improvements. Her sails have been recently updated along with electronics, propane stove, and other amenities. Also, in recent years, all of Chatte De Mer\'s deck hardware was removed and the deck was repainted, with any imperfections repaired. As the owners\' time for cruising has now increased, and thus their desire for a larger vessel, Chatte De Mer is now available for another owner to enjoy! New to the market Oct 2014. Stored inside for the \'14-15 winter and easily viewed. The interior of Chatte De Mer is warm and inviting. Spacious, too, for a traditional vessel. White bulkheads with solid teak joinerwork keeps the cabin light and airing. Deck prisims were added by the current owners to add to this as well. Upon entering the cabin through the companionway, the galley is found to port, under the bridgedeck area. A two burner propane stove has had an upgraded system recently installed , including a deck locker for the tank, and all new plumbing and proper safety switches. A sink, served by a manual faucet, and a large ice box, complete the galley systems. There are large storage lockers for stores and cooking equipment. A large opening port with a screen is above, facing the cockpit. To Starboard of the companionway is the enclosed head area. Entry to the head is through a door on which the companionway steps are attached, a real space saver. This are does not have full headroom but is roomy, and includes the marine toilet and a vanity with a sink. An opening port with a screen allos for ventilation. With access from the aft area of the head, the engine room is easily entered. The amount of space around the engine is terrific, especially when compared to most boats in this size range. The Main cabin has settee / berths port and starboard. All cushions were replaced in 2007 and are solid Teal Sunbrella fabric. Large storage lockers are found outboard of each settee and underneath. On the port forward bulkhead is a Force 10 Propane cabin heater. A Clock and Barometer are nicely placed on the starboard bulkhead, along with a brass oil lamp. A floor mounted drop-leaf table is aft of the keel stepped mast, and serves both settees. Because of the great beam of the Mystic 30, the cabin is very spacious, even with a fixed table. Two teak doors divide the main and forward cabins for privacy. The forward cabin has hanging lockers port and starboard. Forward of the lockers is are v-berths with green sunbrella cushions and memory foam, and a filler cushion to make the two berths into a double. A deck hatch above offers great ventilation, as well as two port holes, all with screens.
