Hull number 4 of this John Corby designed/built production 29ft IRC optimised racing yacht, which the owner purchased “off plan” from John Corby and was delivered new in August 2005. Since then the yacht has been wintered ashore every year and the engine has been professionally serviced/winterised annually.  The yacht was returned to John Corby at Cowes for a minor refit in Autumn 2011 and the hull was stiffened where the keel attaches with an extra stringer added and extra layers of laminate added.

This design shows all the usual Corby features, a narrow beam at the waterline, a deep lead torpedo keel, plus a modern easy to handle rig and is particularly quick on windward/leeward courses – an absolute delight to sail being perfectly balanced and very responsive. The yacht is ready to go for 2014, the sails have been serviced , hull antifouled, and anodes replaced. The  IRC 2013 handicap was 0.990.
