“Antares” is a true blue water cruiser that has been updated with a new generator, a complete new electronics package and a great deal of other cruising amenities.  She has a unique layout that yields additional storage space, both in the outside lazarette and below decks making her a great live aboard choice.  Her current owner has had a change in plans which makes this fine yacht available.  If you are in the market for a strong, sea kindly sailing yacht, Antares should be on your list of boats to see.

\"Antares\" sleeps four in two cabins; the master cabin forward, with head and separate tiled shower stall forward and an aft quarter berth to port.  She was modified when new to include additional storage below decks and a large lazerette to starboard.  This adds a great deal of storage space on deck.  The nav-station was moved forward on the starboard side facing aft, adding additional counter space and storage below.  Her custom queen sized berth forward has a large hanging locker, 4 drawers and shelving, a seat aft of the bunk, an overhead hatch, prism, and two opening ports.  The head is aft of master cabin and to port.  It features a marble vanity, electric head, plenty of storage and a separate tiled shower stall. 

The main saloon is extremely well lit with opening ports and huge butterfly hatch with an optional stained glass inset. The U-shaped dinette is to port.  The large seating area, which would seat six easily, is upholstered and the table is wonderful piece of joiner work.  There is additional shelving and storage outboard as well.   Aft and to starboard is the custom, aft facing, nav-station with marble counter top and plenty of storage.  Aft of nav-station is the custom storage area with marble counter top and drawer storage making this yacht perfect for living aboard or cruising. 

The spacious,  efficient galley is to port behind the dinette.  Marble counter tops, double stainless sink, Gunert 12 volt frig and freezer, 4 burner stove and oven, and a built-in microwave oven make it perfect for preparing meals underway or at anchor.  The wonderful Hans Christian craftsmanship, teak and holly cabin soles, and the use of fine woods and materials throughout produces a well lit and ventilated, commodious interior.
