Ready to start your journey? This 2009 Fathom 40 Expedition is a veteran Pilot House cruiser. Well-equipped and ready for another wintering in the Bahamas or start the Loop again right here where the fun begins. This yacht was once the factory demo and has enjoyed all of the options to make her the most well-appointed Fathom on the market. A unique custom designed Fly Bridge offers complete redundancy for open air cruising while offering precision control and a view only a Fly Bridge can offer. To lower the Fly Bridge Canopy and Mast, you simple remove a few bolts and you now have a Yacht capable of under 16\' of bridge clearance. The Fathom 40 Expedition 40 is the most spacious yacht in her class. With large opening windows in the salon and pilothouse, she is bright, airy, open and very comfortable. Superbly engineered, her hull and machinery provide a dry, safe and comfortable ride. Underway, the boat is remarkably quiet, and with the bow and stern thruster, easily handled in close quarters. Two sleeping cabins provide accommodations for 5, without using the convertible dinette! You will be astounded with the economy at 8 knots, and thrilled with the easy high cruise at 17 knots and a top speed of 21 knots. The MASTER SUITE is located forward and features generous headroom and plenty of natural light. A full size Queen island bed offers a comfortable berth with ample room to enjoy the swivel mounted TV. Overhead is a large hatch as well as two oversized hull ports for a comfortable cross breeze. A full size cedar locker and under berth storage as well as two cabinets provide plenty of storage for those long journeys. Walking down the passage way leads to a unique GUEST SUITE with a single upper berth and a lower double berth. Plenty of storage is also available both in the cedar locker as well as a cabinet and below berth locker. Across the hall is the luxury appointed HEAD. This well designed compartment has a dedicated stand up shower with glass door enclosure and adjustable shower head. A large Corian sink and vanity is located between the shower and electric fresh water flush head with an ample 45 gal black water holding and a second 45 gal gray water tank. Moving further aft an entry hatch is provided for access to electronics as well as a pantry for ample provisions and storage. Two steps up and you now enter the GALLEY. The J-shaped Galley offers at home meals while on those long voyages. A U-shaped Dinette with plenty of space to spread out offers large sliding windows of enjoy the view all around the area. The Galley is open above to the PILOTHOUSE so that everyone is always close enough to experience the trip regardless of your location. A few steps forward and you’re in the Pilot House. This helm station offers the captain complete control of his ship in all kinds of weather. Whether sitting at the helm chair or standing at the wheel, the outstanding 180 degrees of windows offers a fantastic view of your position. The two rear view cameras provide an even larger prospective of your aft location which is ideal for backing into your slip. There\'s a chart table as well as dinette and table to enjoy the meals together while cruising. To starboard is a sliding door giving plenty of access to the bow and a walk around passage way to the stern. The Stern of this unique Pilot House yacht offers a fold down transom of easy boarding or extended deck space. There are 2 storage lockers and a large deck lazarette as well as additional storage in the engine room entry way and the engine room.
