This ocean going Bowman 48 DS was built in 2001 and has a striking Midnight Blue hull (painted with Awlgrip in 2013). ‘Tairua’ sleeps six in one double and four 4 single berths. She was commissioned by the current owner for extended blue water cruising and she has done that extensively, from the Caribbean to Hawaii and on up to Alaska and Canada. She was transported to Nova Scotia from Vancouver and then sailed to Maine from where she did the Atlantic crossing to Spain in 2013.

The inventory on this Bowman 48 DS includes a generator, holding tanks, full navigation package, electric windlass, washing machine, tender with outboard and life raft. A must see 48 foot deep water cruising yacht with a great set of specifications that means she can be taken almost anywhere.
