Madlener & Sons Staysail Schooner
First voyage in 1994, when she sailed to Tonga, American Samoa, Cook Islands, Hawaii
STELLA SERENA was completed for a first voyage in 1994, when she sailed to Tonga, American Samoa, Cook Islands, Hawaii and was completed at the Ala Wai Harbor. She has a history of marine surveys and is a USCG documented vessel. She has completed five voyages to the South Seas in good order without breakages or emergencies of any kind. She has never gone aground or out of control. Her ground tackle has held in all anchorages, and she has never lost any sails or been disabled at sea. Her best sail was four days of self-steering in trade wind weather at 10 knots; her most difficult sail was hove-to near Bora Bora with super mara winds gusting to 79 knots. She voyages at 7 ¼ knots as her average boat speed.
