PDQ 36
The PDQ 36 Long Range Cruiser, named Beagle is a yard built ship by PDQ Toronto Canada. About 100 PDQ’s 36 have been built, mainly between 1990-1999, and is made of Vinylester sandwich foam. The boat is a very comfortable sailor, very suitable for long cruises. Although she is not a risky racer the average speed is between 7 and 12 knots. The design is optimized for safety. She sails an upwind angle of 50-55 degrees and tacks easily. All sail handling can be done from the cockpit. A catamaran has many advantages over a monohull such as anchoring without rolling and stable sailing without gradient. The space outside and inside is comparable with a 45 footer monohull, the cockpit is even bigger. Under the big sprayhood you will always stay dry and don’t need any wet weather gear. Also falling dry can be easily done. This boat is equipped with 2 diesel engines and has always been used privately. The first owner sailed her from Canada to Europe. The second owner sailed 3 times to Spain/Portugal. The current owner sailed 7 times to the Baltic. Now it is time for a new owner to enjoy this ship.

Bridge clearance 15.00 meter, mainsail 30m2 2000 fully battened with Harken runners, genua 30 m2 2004 pentex on Harken furling system, spinnaker 100 m2 1993, genua 20m2 2000, cutter jib 2000, storm jib 2000, gennaker 60 m2 2000, Lewmar 48ST for sheets and halyards, Lewmar 16 for reefing, reefing can be done from the cockpit, sprayhood, outside blinds for all windows

Engine:
2 times Volvo Penta MD2002 indirectly cooled, 18 hp, running hours 3.500, saildrive with 2 bladed folding propellors of 2007/08, saildrives overhauled 2007/08, engines professionally maintained, dieseltank aluminium 225 liter, daytank of 20 liter, RPM gauges (one defect), oilpressure and temp gauges.
