SUN SONG II is not your typical Express Cruiser.  The BRUCKMANN Blue Star 36 is the design of Naval Architect Mark Ellis and  builder Mark Bruckmann , Bruckmann Yachts Mississauga , Canada.  As you approach the yacht with it\'s high gloss teak cap rail and bow blank, Flag Blue topsides and roomy cockpit she may appear to be typical, but that is where any similarity ends.  The Bridge Deck/Salon is just you enter the cabin.  Helm to Starboard , Navigation Station to Port.  No bulkhead between helm deck and the lower accommodation creating the brightest, biggest, possible space with fantastic visibility for helmsman and guests alike.

\"One of the most refreshing things about the Blue Star, compared with other models in her class, is the arrangement plan. It blends the openness of an express cruiser with the accommodations and finish of a fully enclosed sedan..........To construct the same feeling on the 36.6, Ely and Ellis designed the boat with no bulkhead between the helm deck and the lower accommodations, eliminating the overhead above the galley. The hardtop\'s side and front windows expand to the fullest shape possible, providing fantastic visibility from every point on the helm deck. A clever convertible seat at the end of the portside settee allows a companion to sit at the adjacent navigation table and remain part of the action while under way.\"

Starting forward is the spacious private Master Stateroom with centerline berth and private access to the head. Moving aft to Port is the head with vanity and across to Starboard is the separate shower. Continuing aft to Starboard is the lower deck salon with a convertible L-shaped settee and entertainment center. Across to port is the U-shaped fully equipped galley. Up three stairs and aft is the spacious main Salon which incorporates the helm forward to Starboard. Exiting aft thru the varnished teak door is the cockpit that offers both forward and aft seating as well as access to the wide side decks.
