The Downeast 38\' is a full keel cruiser that is a very sea kindly and versatile cutter rigged sloop. She has a traditional design with a wineglass stern and a stainless steel bow sprit. This vessel was designed by a California naval architect who specialized in cruising sailboats. Full standing headroom with cabinetry and teak trim throughout the interior. Lots of deck space. She is powered by a diesel engine and has a five year old Norpro 7 KW generator with less than 20 hours. 20,000 BTU AC. Roller furling headsail, auto pilot, chart plotter. This vessel would make a great live aboard or cruiser.
