Custom Built Haven 12 1/2

Custom Built Haven 12 1/2 - Classic Haven Design Daysailer

The best-looking daysailer or racer on Cape Cod!

This 16\' beauty is a custom-built small sloop which is a modification of a Herreshoff design by Joel White.

The workmanship of this boat is remarkable. Absolutely flawless construction of mahogany plywood overlaid with epoxy. Every fitting is top-notch. A pleasant surprise is the Harken roller-furling jib which is also self-tending. A real convenience when heading upwind and making selfhanding easy.

The cockpit is open and roomy, with plenty of space for up to six adults. There is a forward storage area accessible via two watertight round hatches. Large storage aft as well.

The trailer has been custom-rigged to accommodate the spars when set for travel.

Stock #66004 This vessel is in Bristol condition and needs nothing except bottom paint.. Same with the trailer. Note that the vessel is presently stored for winter on its trailer in a boatyard and has a custom winter cover. All fittings, sheets, lines, running and standing rigging in outstanding condition. The seller has rigged up a small electric cockpit pump which works well as an alternative to covering the boat every time.
