The MUV 12 (Multi-Purpose Utility Vessel ) is a composite, fast, stable, shallow draft power catamaran that is designed to handle multiple on water activities in any sea state. Currently the MUV 12 is being used as a high speed private ferry but would also be suitable as a high end dive boat or day boat.

The composite build material and design of this 12 meter Noah Thompson designed Duflex power catamaran means she is light, fast, efficient and most importantly comfortable. This MUV 12 was fitted out with diving and day trips in mind.

The great open fully covered aft deck and clever ergonomic seats are designed for 14 sets of dive equipment as well as seating which makes getting into your gear and into the ocean a breeze.

Entering the water is done either via a large drop down boarding platform aft or through the front drop down steps which is handy for descending/ascending down the anchor line. This feature also allows for walk on /walk off boarding from the shore.

The MUV has a top speed of 36 Knots and will comfortably cruise on 28 knots loaded and cruising economically. The MUV 12 is powered by twin 250 HP out board Honda engines with jack plates.

This is a hi-tec composite custom power catamaran which is clever in design and simple to use.
