ELLINOR was built in Sweden in 1936 as a sturdy, seakindly cruising ketch. She has undergone extensive refits and upgrades over the last 20 years. An extensive history detailing back to her launching is available. ELLINOR is oak planked on bent oak ribs, every 3rd rib steel. Copper fastened. Heavy 1/4\" FRP sheathing in the early 1970s. Bright spars, 2002 sails, PERKINS 60 diesel, pressure H&C water, propane 2 burner stove with oven. SEALAND holding tank system. Tiller steering.
