Steve Killing, the designer, says in his write up of the boat,\" The boat, designed without consideration of racing rules, was created with speed in mind.....The tall rig, deep draft & fixed bowsprit are indicators of the performance bent to this sloop\". The builder, John Daniells, took 9 years to craft To Life & the results are impressive. There is a 40 HP Yanmar saildrive, twin helms & accomodations for a full crew. The keel can be removed for overland shipment. Currently in winter storage on Georgian Bay.
