Chris-Craft 17 Barrelback - Heritage, Not many built

The Deluxe and Custom Runabouts from 1939-1942 gained the name(s) of ‘Barrel Back’ or ‘Barrel Stern’ due to the extreme tumble-home and barrel-like appearance of the rear deck and transom.  They are indeed unique and quite beautiful, and if you are at all familiar with the antique and classic boat marketplace then you already know how valuable these mahogany water toys are.

This boat is rare and in good condition.  It\'s been in freshwater it\'s entire life and spent the majority of it\'s life on Lake George.  It has been with the same owner since 1967.  Some planks on the bottom of the boat have been repaired but for the most part, it\'s all original.

Vessel has the original Chris Craft Model K Engine #7650 that is 95hp.  Motor is in great shape and still runs perfectly.
