Hull and Deck

A clean well thought out deck and a substantial hull are benefits that every experienced sailor recognizes. The ability to shorten sail quickly in a gail or head into a gathering storm if necessary can make the difference between a comfortable day or a day with too much excitement. Viatrix is an aft cockpit vessel with all the proper gear to make her enjoyable to sail and safe in poor weather. Her layout also makes for a perfect platform while anchored in an idyllic cove. The large cockpit and swim platform are perfect for relaxing on a sunny day. The deck provides ample space for relaxing as well. This Sparkman and Stephens design is incredibly versatile and can be enjoyed by all types of sailors.

Interior

Viatrix is a two cabin boat with a workroom forward. She features a single head with a stall shower and a midship galley. This layout makes her ideal for longer passages. The forward double berth is just ahead of the mast and the aft double berth is to starboard just aft of the navigation station. The comfortable U-shaped settee surrounds the large salon table to port. The galley is on the starboard side of the vessel and perfectly positioned to use underway. The navigation station is just aft of the galley and faces forward. Opposite the nav station is the large head.

Going below on Viatrix one immediately notices her excellent teak joinery. The level of care her only owners have lavished upon her is also evident. Her interior is light and airy.
