Northern Bay Hunter Scott
This traditional downeast style Northern Bay hull was custom finished by Hunter Scott Custom Boatworks, and the attention to detail is evident. Her Caterpillar 420hp engine has 648 hours and her 2003 black Awlgrip hull still shines. The canvas soft top provides ample shade while moored in your favorite harbor. Add in a spacious cockpit with stern door to the swim platform, and Mischief becomes not only the most striking boat in the harbor, but also the most enjoyed. Mischief can provide it all - from comfort when aboard to pride of ownership when stepping away. Contact Parker\'s Boat Yard today to view this well maintained vessel. Step aboard from the stern swim platform through the transom swing door into the cockpit, which has a cushioned bench seat for two and plenty of room for deck chairs. In the cockpit you\'ll find ample storage below deck and under the gunnels; to starboard is a hot and cold pressure water shower/washdown. Step up into the shade of the helm deck under the canvas soft top where you\'ll find an L-shaped dinette settee and mate\'s chair to port, and the helm controls and captain\'s chair to starboard. Both teak chairs and the settee have dark green Sunbrella cushions. The settee converts to a single bunk, and the mate\'s chair can easily be relocated to starboard behind the captain\'s chair. You can\'t help but notice the shine on the accent brightwork and the dinette teak table. The canvas soft top is Sunbrella \"Linen\" on a stainless steel frame. The engine access hatch opens from the helm deck sole. Step down into the main cabin through the teak double doors of the helm deck center companionway. To port is a u-shaped galley; a Norcold refrigerator with freezer, center sink with hot and cold pressure water, followed by a two burner Seaward stainless steel propane stove with oven (2004). Above the Corian countertop is the electrical panel followed by a build-in microwave, an opening port above the sink, and wall space for a picture (or maybe a rack for cooking utensils for a cruising gourmet) above the stove. Cubby storage is behind the sink and there is a large storage area under the sink. To starboard is the u-shaped dinette with Ultrasuede dark green cushions and a varnished teak table. Plenty of shelf storage surrounds the settee, which converts to a double bunk. Stepping forward the settee is followed by three large drawers and hanging locker. Opposite, to port, is the head with Jabsco electric marine toilet, shower and stainless steel sink in the stunningly contrasting dark green countertop. The traditional v-berth has a center fill piece, which creates a large double bunk. There is storage below the bunks and along the hull sides. Mahogany brightwork was used to create the storage areas and accent the hull sides in a Herreshoff style. Opening ports at both sides, along with a center opening hatch, keep the v-berth open and airy. A teak and holly sole runs throughout and high gloss mahogany accents create a warm appealing living space. All ports and hatches open and have screens and shades, and with the dinette settee converted to a double bunk, four adults can sleep comfortably inside the cabin.
