This boat needs to be seen She is the lightest of the Quest 30s and she underwent a major refit in 2012, with other upgrades in 2013 needed to make her ‘OFFSHORE’ ready for the Bermuda 1-2 ( in 2013 )

The Quest 30 is a very unique and quick boat. Originally designed as an inshore/Offshore short-handed racer cruiser. She is comfortable around the cans or she is a very capable offshore racer/cruiser. WILDEYES has had substantial refit with updates and upgrades that make her a great value for a performance 30 footer.

Hull - 1996 build/ 2012 substantial REFIT. Built of Fiberglass with EPOXY resin ( all other Quest 30s used Vinylester resin ). REFIT included replacing structural Frames of composite materials. Finish is Awlgrip. Bottom was completely overhauled by Waterline Systems in 2012. Bottom paint is Baltoplate.

Equipped with 3 water ballast tanks on each side. Water is let into the tanks via electric water pump. Transfer is via gravity.

Deck - Bow and Stern Rails; Replaced lifelines with Staineless lifelines in 2013; 4 Harken 2 speed winches..2 mounted on Cabin top , two on deck in the cockpit area.

Owner added a number of Wichard ring fairleads for optional and optimal fairleads

Adjustable jib cars

Varoius deck hardware : turning blocks, fairleads, rope clutches

Steering - Laminated Wood Tiller, Single Rudder steering with a NKE below decks autopilt

Rigging – Carbone Fiber Mast; Aluminum boom; Owner installed a removeable/adjustable inner forestay ; removeable running Backstay. Fracnor Roller furling for jibs ; All jibs are soft hank

Sails - 2012 North Sails 3di, Spare Racing main, #1, #2 ( jib top/ great offshore sail ) #4/Staysail , Storm Jib, Code 0, 3 Assymetrical Spinnakers

Interior – removable forward V-Berth; Port and Starboard settees

Electronics / Electrical System : NKG Instruments and AutoPilot, Garmin chartplotter ( new in 2012 ) , Sat phone ( optional )

Safety : Two manual Bilge pumps; One is operable from the cockpit; the second one is operable from below. The below decks pump was installed in 2013 ; is removable ; and is a 60gpm whale gusher ; Flares,
