TomCat 9.7 is a performance oriented, entry level cruising catamaran. The large length/beam ratio of her hulls, combined with light weight, an efficient rig and a high aspect ratio foil centerboard give excellent performance in all winds and on all points of sail. Jib furling and main halyards are led to the cockpit for single-hand convenience. Twin outboards in wells provide quiet, comfortable motoring. Wheel steering and instrumentation is just a step away from the interior navigation station.

The proper layout for your boat is as personal as your selection and furnishing of a home. The spaces of the TomCat 9.7 are adaptable to vary the number and sizes of berths, the salon seating, the size and arrangement of the galley, storage and tankage. From a couple on an extended cruise to a \"party boat\" with family and friends aboard for the weekend, there is a layout to meet your needs.We think the one shown here will be popular for a family or a couple with occasional guests. The owner\'s stateroom forward in the port hull has a double berth 54 in. wide, 78 in. long, a dressing area and vanity, lots of closets and private access to the adjacent head. Double quarterberths aft in each hull are 48 in. wide, 78 in. long. Visitors or family will have their own private space with closets and storage.
The galley has over 10 ft. of countertop space and can include a 4 cu. ft. fridge, stove with oven, SS sink, with lots of storage space and cupboards. The main salon will seat 4 - 6 comfortably and can be converted to a large double berth for extra accommodations.
