Oyster 39 Sailing Ketch - New arrival
Price reduced March 2015 Designed by Holman & Pye this well presented Oyster 39 is the perfect, proven, blue water cruiser. The Oyster 39 has been extremely popular due to her excellent accommodation for a yacht of this size. One of the best known examples, \'Morningtown\', was a radio relay vessel throughout the 1979 Fastnet storm and stayed at sea, without incident, in some of the UK\'s most severe weather. This Oyster 39 sailing ketch has 7 berths in 3 cabins. 2 x heads, one of which is ensuite with shower. She has made multiple Atlantic crossings and is fully equipped as such. With a comprehensive electronic and equipment inventory she is ready for anywhere. Equally at home as a local cruising or live aboard vessel. The previous owner replaced the standing rigging and upgraded all Navionics to Furuno. Since buying her we have replaced most of the 12v electrical system as well as modernising the navionics by adding new VHF radios and other electronics. The Furuno kit is still in place though. She has SSB DSC for long range comms. She\'s fully equipped for an Atlantic which I\'d be fully confident in doing in this vessel. More so than many modern boats. A reliable, safe and trustworthy vessel. A LOT of boat for the money! A great live-aboard. This Oyster 39 Sailing ketch has 7 berths in 3 cabins. 2 x heads, one of which is ensuite with shower.
