Duffy Edison

Duffy Edison

Very powerful 20\' Duffy Electric boat. Has 12 batteries - twice the original boat, and a 210 amp NEW controller - again , twice the original capacity.. The combination of double the battery capacity and double the controller capacity gives this Duffy \"Kick-In-The-Pants\" performance and more then 12 ours run time between charges!!!!

You can actually take this boat to Avalon, recharge the batteries with the 900 w portable generator, and return the next day!!!!

The canvas top is in very nice condition. Helm seat and back have canvas covers. Cushions are in good condition. Hatches are all varnished and in good condition.

Horn, electric bilge pump, nav lights all work fine.

Stereo w/ CD player plus amp for MP3/ipod hook up.

12V dc charger socket

Classic wood spoke steering wheel

Forward and aft storage lockers along with under seat lockers.

Bow and stern flag sockets

Stainless bow towing eye

Issues: Bottom could use bottom paint.

IN addition to relatively new 105 amp golf cart batteries the boat has a new 18 amp 4-phase auto battery charger - much bigger then the usual 5 amp charger!! last set of batteries lasted 7 years!! These batteries are about a year old!

THis is my personal boat - take a look and buy it!!

Brightwork  should be redone and the hull could use a compound polish ($1200 was quotes to do).
