Bauteck Bauer 12

Nice, well-built and solid daysailer.

As the most recent addition to the Bauer line from Bauteck Marine, the Bauer 12 made its debut in 1996. With an overall length of 12\' 5\" and a generous 6\' beam, the spacious interior holds four adults and gear comfortably, making the \"12\" the roomiest of our boats. The wide beam creates a stable, dry daysailer and although just a bit longer than the \"10\", the bauer 12 has that big boat feel. The Marconi rig, with its combined 118 s.f. jib and fully battened reefing mainsail, moves the \"12\" effortlessly through the water. Its well designed semi-displacement hull makes for fun, high-spirited sailing that all will enjoy! With its retractable centerboard and kick-up beaching rudder, launching to and from the shore is easy and hassle-free. With a near endless list of options and colors to choose from, your Bauer 12 will be truly unique and can be customized to fit your needs. This safe, stable and dependable boat ensures that you and your family can spend more time relaxing on the water.
